Upon entering your departure and destination points, AstroFlight displays your estimated flight path on a map. It allows users to choose from an extensive database of over 9,000 airports worldwide, searchable by international airport codes, ensuring comprehensive coverage and convenience.

One of the standout features of this app is its intuitive color-coded system. A red line on the map shows when the sun will shine on the left side of the aircraft, while a green line indicates sunlight on the right side. For night-time flying, a magenta line shows the moon's position on the left, and a cyan line denotes the moon on the right. If neither celestial body is visible, the path will be marked in blue. Additionally, it provides clear indicators for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset with yellow and green arrows, making it easy for you to plan your viewing experience.

Powered by OpenStreetMap, this tool supports offline cache files. This feature allows users to access and navigate the maps even without internet connectivity, by storing them directly in the osmdroid folder on their SD card. Users can also share these maps with other applications that utilize the OsmDroid library, expanding its functionality.
